About Me
Hi there! I'm Elena, an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teacher from Spain. With a background in translation & interpreting and a passion for language education, I've dedicated myself to helping students achieve fluency and confidence in English.
In my classroom, you can expect a supportive and dynamic learning environment where the students feel valued and empowered and their needs take center stage. I am dedicated to providing personalized support to students as much as possible, it's through one-on-one guidance, constructive feedback, or additional resources to help them succeed.
I believe in the importance of cultivating not only academic skills but also critical thinking, creativity, and a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom. That’s why I strive to create lessons that stimulate curiosity and engage participation in a safe environment.
Motivation is key to successful language learning, which is why I'm committed to keeping our lessons engaging and motivating. From projects that allow you to apply your language skills in real-world contexts to games that make language learning fun, I try to give my students plenty of opportunities to stay motivated and excited about mastering English.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, learning new languages, playing board games, listening to music, walking my dog, meeting new people, solving escape rooms and puzzles, going to the beach, and hosting dinner parties.
Feel free to reach out to me with any ideas for new projects. Let's make this academic year a memorable and successful one together!
